Imaging

AICA Atlanta has state of the art imaging and diagnostic equipment that gives chiropractors insight into the extent of your injuries and helps them arrive at the best treatment plan for you. To get a correct diagnosis from the start we use X-rays. First, we look for injuries that require urgent attention and then move on to checking the delicate mechanics of the body so that we can put you on the path to recovery.

We use MRIs to obtain a complete three dimensional view of soft tissue, ligament, tendon, and spinal cord injuries. This technologically advanced tool allows us to go deeper than an initial x-ray.CT scans are valuable for fine-tuning the diagnostic process. We use a CT scan after initial x-rays and MRIs to confirm suspected hairline fractures and other bone injuries.

A CT scan takes multiple x-rays to create a three dimensional view of an affected area. Fluoroscopy allows us to see a continuous X-ray of the body. This real-time imaging verifies proper positioning of bones during in office procedures. We take this to the next level by observing your body in motion to ensure proper functioning of joints.

Advanced Imaging Equipment

MRI

This type of imaging is noninvasive and uses no radiation, but it can detect problems in all of your soft tissue, including your muscles, ligaments, tendons, cartilage, spinal discs, blood vessels, organs, and more. MRIs can help us find cancer, brain injuries, MS, bone infections, joint damage, heart disease, and more. Learn More about MRI

CT Scan

This type of imaging allows us to view the inside of the body in 3D, including your bones, organs, and other tissues. It takes multiple X-Ray images from a variety of angles to create cross-sectional images, allowing us to see more in-depth than a standard X-Ray. CT Scans can help detect hairline fractures, heart disease, blood clots, cancer, tumors, infections, and more. Learn More about CT Scan

X-Ray

Our digital X-Ray capabilities allow us to see an X-Ray image immediately after it’s been taken, allowing us to more quickly and effectively diagnose breaks and other bone concerns. X-Rays can also give doctors insight into arthritis, dislocated joints, and other causes of bone or joint pain. X-Rays are also commonly used to diagnose lung problems like pneumonia and tuberculosis. Learn More about X-Ray

Fluoroscopy

This imaging technology is like a continuous X-Ray. It can be used to diagnose a number of ailments and injuries, but it can also be used during a medical procedure in which extreme precision and safety are absolutely vital. Fluoroscopy can help doctors diagnose pain during movement, and it can assist doctors in cardiac catheter insertion, among other things. Learn More about Fluoroscopy

Yesterday was my last day at AICA College Park since my accident in December, there is so much to say about the people who work here and the level of customer service, care, attention, friendliness, and overall amazing atmosphere that they provide. Location is perfect in College Park, right off the highway and in a small plaza with plenty of parking. The entire staff, from the front desk girls, to the physical therapy girls, to the chiros, and the medical team are AMAZING! I feel like I just lost my friends not being able to visit them twice a week every week. I will definitely miss coming here. All the smiles and warm welcomes received. The physical therapy - asking about my day, if everything is okay and helping my back and neck get better. I had the pleasure of having Dr. Hector as my chiropractor, he is awesome, was very helpful in the healing process and also a native Spanish speaker which is a plus for those of us who do speak Spanish. Before coming to AICA, I tried another injury clinic in ATL and walked out after 5 mins - so impersonal and cold. I am so glad that I found AICA in College Park. Trust me, if you are injured and need some healing and TLC you NEED to come to this clinic! Highly recommend to everyone. Thank you again to the guys and girls at AICA - xo Ms. Colon
