If you’ve worked your whole life in an active environment that demands a high level of physical activity and assertion, it’s understandable to find yourself living with constant pains and aches.

Careers centered around manual labor, such as construction, are often associated with on-site injuries that affect your muscles, ligaments, tendons, discs, and joints.

These types of injuries are known to create lasting adverse effects if improperly treated and maintained.

These types of injuries are known to produce lasting negative effects if improperly treated and sustained.

Suffering from chronic pain can significantly be minimized through the techniques and procedures your Chiropractor can offer you.

Your local Atlanta Chiropractor can provide a variety of solutions that put you on the path to living a pain- life, that includes tips such as these:

It’s All About Maintaining The Biomechanics

Being able to restore proper alignment of your spine requires you to see your Chiropractor, even when you’re feeling well-rested, relaxed and healthy. Making regular appointments allows you to maintain excellent health by proactively supporting your extremities before potential problems become clinical.

Create An Exercise Routine

The point of the exercise is to give your body a chance to burn off unhealthy elements that are absorbed throughout the day. What too many people fail to remember and one of the reasons why so many quits working out is that exercise does not have to be overly demanding.

What too many people fail to remember and one of the reasons why so many quits working out is that exercise does not have to be overly demanding.

One of the primary goals of training is to increase your body’s heart rate, but not to lose your breath and feel winded. Light exercise, such as stretching, can be more than enough for some people, depending on their specific needs. For others, going for a light jog on a regular basis is more than sufficient when it comes to assisting your joints’ ability to repair and maintain.

Studies show that when joints are immobilized, they can begin to degenerate. To prevent this from happening, make sure you find some way to remain active and on-the-move to give your joints the type of nutrients they need, as well as remove waste products created by regular activity.

Just Breath and Relax

It’s important that you can properly rest after you exercise.

Learn relaxation techniques. Take up yoga. Find local activities that support a relaxed state-of-mind.

Keep An Eye On Your Nutrition

The body maintains and rebuilds damaged tissue based on the nutrients it has available.

Make sure you avoid junk and fast foods, regardless of how tasty or convenient they may be. Try incorporating an organic diet into your routine to maximize the level of nutrients your body can absorb and use.

Organic foods tend to be produced from farms there are closer to your proximity and therefore, can maintain a higher balance of vitamins and minerals.

Find ways to relax. You can Google tips and advice to see what other people like yourself are doing to stay in shape or even try joining a local group, such as a running club.

Yesterday was my last day at AICA College Park since my accident in December, there is so much to say about the people who work here and the level of customer service, care, attention, friendliness, and overall amazing atmosphere that they provide. Location is perfect in College Park, right off the highway and in a small plaza with plenty of parking. The entire staff, from the front desk girls, to the physical therapy girls, to the chiros, and the medical team are AMAZING! I feel like I just lost my friends not being able to visit them twice a week every week. I will definitely miss coming here. All the smiles and warm welcomes received. The physical therapy - asking about my day, if everything is okay and helping my back and neck get better. I had the pleasure of having Dr. Hector as my chiropractor, he is awesome, was very helpful in the healing process and also a native Spanish speaker which is a plus for those of us who do speak Spanish. Before coming to AICA, I tried another injury clinic in ATL and walked out after 5 mins - so impersonal and cold. I am so glad that I found AICA in College Park. Trust me, if you are injured and need some healing and TLC you NEED to come to this clinic! Highly recommend to everyone. Thank you again to the guys and girls at AICA - xo Ms. Colon
