Get Excited About Your Health

Motivation is key, if that isn’t present than reaching your goals is just an uphill battle. Working out should be challenging however it should be something that a person enjoys so finding what motivates you can mean all the difference in your success.

Write down your goals

Post it somewhere where you can see it every day so you can remind yourself not to give up. If you are a visual person, find a way to keep track of your weight loss so you can visually see the progress.

Fill a jar with marbles and every time you lose a pound place them in another jar so you can see just how far you have come.

Find inspiration

Sometimes we all need a little reminder that we are an amazing human and writing down inspirational quotes where you can see them can help remind you that you are capable of achieving your goals.

Switch things up

Working out the same way everyday can get boring and also not the most effective measure for weight loss. If you feel like going for a job add it in or if you need to be surrounded by other people, head to the gym. As long as you are moving you are still working toward your goals.

Having a trainer may also be helpful as they can guide you in the direction you need to be while monitoring your progress and providing you with the motivation you may be lacking. Adding music to your workouts can also increase the likelihood of you returning to your work out regime as music can help get your endorphins pumping leaving you feeling happy.

Pairing up with a friend or someone from work will also help with accountability as well as having a stronger support system.

Everyone is always busy but it is up to you to make your health a priority as you are only given one body and it is your job to make sure that you are treating it right. When trying to find time to work out look at your schedule and see what could be pushed aside or moved to another day to squeeze in even a twenty minute workout.

Spending hours at the gym although nice for some may not be in the cards for you and that is okay! Stop at your local fitness store and purchase a few weights, even a jump rope would suffice and get yourself moving!
